Open Agora app for Microsoft Teams wants to keep most of the User Experience within Microsoft Teams. Hence we receive and store the minimum amount of data on our servers.
We first keep available user information (name and email) in order to identity poll voters unambiguously. Email address may also be used to answer a user feedback, and some time in the future it may be used to send poll-related notifications and reminders following the user’s demand. It will not receive any other email from us. We also store our users’ teams and channels ids, in order to interact with Microsoft API. Finally, we store the data related to users’ polls (including the polls titles, possible choice labels and votes). This enables our users to change and to review their votes.
At any time, upon a user request, we may remove their data from our servers entirely. Note that since this will prevent the application to work properly, this should follow the app uninstall (it can be re-installed later on).
Open Agora servers are hosted by OVH a French hosting company. Our services are deployed on privately-run Debian machines, using Docker isolated containers (and other open source technologies).
