Personal data we collect, and how we use it
In order to perform our polling services, we collect the following data from the Slack platform:
- Email address used for the registration process. We will communicate to that address to guarantee a successful installation process and provide support.
- Workspace information such as name, team id, icon, authorized domain names, in order to interact with Slack API.
- User’s information such as names, emails, profile picture, language, only inside our Slack application for the system purposes, and to offer value-added polling features such as notifications, personal reminders of votes, etc…
- We also store the data relative to users’ polls (including the polls’ labels, possible answers and votes). This enables anonymous polls, and Condorcet result.
Note we also have to log interactions between users and our application (such as request for help using the command or bot mentions).
Open Agora servers are hosted by

We will use your Personal Information mainly to contact you regarding our service, especially if you’re on a paid plan. We may also occasionally send you newsletters, marketing or promotional materials that may be of interest to you. You may opt out of receiving any, or all, of these messages by following the “unsubscribe” link at the bottom of all emails and private chat with the bot, or by changing your preferences in your personal area.
